'The Trinity River Strangler' is a multi-media installation that puts the viewer into the mind of a ficticious serial killer. In this project I created van dyke brown prints and stereotypical images of the female body to criticize the way womxn's bodies are portrayed through-out art history and how they are overly sexualized, even after a horrific death. it is also a critique on the sensationalism revolving around the murders of womxn and the way the media creates infamy for the serial killer, while objectifying his victims and ignoring their humanity in the process.
